Frequently Asked Questions

Is teletherapy effective?

YES! Teletherapy is a recognized and effective way to provide speech and language therapy.

Will my insurance cover my visit?

Constellation Speech Therapy is a private-pay practice. We do not currently accept insurance. However, I can provide you with a Superbill so you can seek reimbursement. Reimbursement is between you and your insurance company.

What if I don't feel teletherapy is working for my child?

Although it is not as common as you might think, teletherapy is not for every client. I’m happy to discuss your concerns and it is absolutely fine to decide that this format is not the best fit for you or your family.

Is teletherapy covered by HIPAA?

Yes. Speech Therapy via teletherapy or other service delivery methods is subject to HIPAA regulations. Our Notice of Privacy is available.

Are face-to-face services available?

Yes, at limited times and within a limited service area. Call me  to determine if in-person services are possible. If an in-person service time is not available or teletherapy is not a good match, the ASHA website offers a list of credentialed SLPs here:
